New members are always welcome - whether you are an experienced bowler or a newcomer you will be warmly welcomed at Hertfordshire's oldest bowls club.
Bengeo Bowls is a section of THE BENGEO CLUB and new players must first join the Club [registration plus subs] and then are eligible to join the Bowls Section for a further annual sub. See the facilities available by clicking on this link http://www.bengeoclub.co.uk
Subscriptions are: Bengeo Club £12 p.a. Bengeo Bowls £50 p.a. In addition there is a Club Joining fee in first year of £20. The easiest way to join is to come to the club during opening hours and pay directly in the office or over the bar. If you bring a guest you they must pay a guest fee of £5 to play.

Members are able to use the Club's facilities throughout the year. These include a licenced bar, patio, entertainment, petanque piste, snooker pool and darts. The Bowls facilities are available between April and September
These include:
- free use of the green any time it is not pre booked (in practice there is almost always a rink available)
- use of club equipment and loan of woods
- participation in informal club sessions (roll ups)
. eligibility for selection for club teams
- coaching sessions for all levels
- participation in numerous club competitions and events
- participation in County and National Competitions
Members are expected to assist with running the club and helping to maintain the green and facilities.This can involve maintaining equipment, preparing the playing surface, helping with refreshments on Sunday afternoons, gardening etc.
There is usually free parking available and the green is accessible for people with a moderate level of disability.
